Aged-Care Outreach Committee
"Bringing the gospel of Christ to the aged in our community
through God's Word, music and song."
This committee organizes and oversees worship meetings that are held at aged-care homes in the Rockingham vicinity.
Held on Sunday afternoons, a group of church families meet together with the home residents. Here God's Word is opened and read, accompanied by a short explanation. Throughout the meeting, psalms and songs are sung together and praises are also sung in choir by the children who attend. After the meeting there is always a opportunity for social interaction with one another.
